First time trying Crème Brûlée Latte. Initially, I was concerned it might be overly sweet due to the caramel and vanilla flavors. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect balance between the delicate sweetness of the crème brûlée topping and the rich, robust flavor of the freshly brewed coffee beans. The caramel and vanilla notes complement the espresso beautifully without overpowering it, creating a smooth and sophisticated taste experience. The latte’s creamy texture paired with a subtle caramel used sugar crust on top adds a delightful contrast that makes each sip uniquely satisfying. one of my favorite work spots in br. really vibey, dark atmosphere with a really great drink menu. espresso tends to be a bit strong for my taste, but overall i’ve never been disappointed in a drink. they have pretty decent matcha too! tends to be crowded, but it’s really a testament to how great city roots is!

If I could give 100 stars I would ! I’m literally sitting in the shop writing this because it couldn’t wait. I was great and COMPLIMENTED!!! All of the beautiful people behind the bar had smiles and were ready to help. Egg bites were amazing and this is the best iced latte I’ve had in quite some time.

I love this place. The people remember you, are so friendly and they make some really good match and coffee! This place is a little sentimental to me and my fiancé now too. It was our first "date" spot, and now we go every weekend (going on our wedding morning too). If you are just visiting, I recommend and if you are from here I recommend. Basically just come.

A wonderful place to get Matcha and other coffee items. I love the ambience and aesthetics of the restaurant. Friendly service, lots of specialty drinks here. I highly recommend it would come back.

Was one of the first customers here on a Sunday Morning. The cashier lady was very cute and friendly and even asked how I was (I was an absolute train wreck). I ordered a chai latte and bought some other things from the display shelf. Before I could string a coherent sentence together my Chai Latte was ready. I took a seat @ the 4top on the NW corner of the cafe and chugged my hot chai latte then left. Vibes immaculate.

Y'all! This place is great, especially if you're looking for a shot of caffeine mid road trip. It's not too much of a detour, and the stop is well worth it. Now let's talk coffee. We kept to cold brews given the weather, and they were just what we needed. The whipped espresso and espresso cielo were amazing The vibe is excellent, the staff are very kind, ample parking, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend!!

I was on the road so I looked for a new place or something local, I ended up here at City Roots and I dig the vibes. Seems great for remote work, quiet music, low noise when the roaster isn’t on. I was greeted promptly and I ordered the Espresso Cielo. Drink was hand crafted and really tasty. There’s inside and outside seating. Inside holds about 30 people. Free WiFi , food, and craft beer round out the menu. The only gripe was not finding it. From the road there is a lot for the electric depot. The facade of the building just looks like an office. You have to walk around the back.
